Not according to plan
The body is acting up in wierd ways, it's all perplexing and frustrating. What does it take to have a good race? I did the cap tech classic in Richmond on Thursday and things were going great. I made the winning break buy had an asthma attack with 8 laps to go, and it was game over, I went straight back to and through the group.
Then, I woke up Friday with a strange pain in my knee. Where did this thing come from!?! I couldn't even spin down the bike path to the capitol, and so limped home.
I went to the Chiro, a great doc named Melanie Six and she hooked me up with some active release and ultrasound, and sent me home with hopes of racing today. It was not to be, I rode 5 minutes this morning and then cut myself from the team for the rest of the weekend. So instead of torturing myself at CSC, and going great at Lancaster, I'm on a plane home until further notice.
After being at home for a while and training hard and well, I was ready to hit it a nudge and see what I could do. If Richmond was any indication, things see going quite well but now I can't do anything with it. Frustrating. I hope I can do Philly, or that frustration is going to turn to anger.
