My new toy

I couldn't stand it anymore, i had to get it:

One of our best sellers, the Rancilio Silvia is a machine that's reputation speaks for itself. With nearly five years of solid performance, the Silvia is one of the most highly recognized semi-automatic machines in the business. To ensureheat retention and lasting quality, the Silvia features a forged marine brass portafilter, group head, and boiler. The large 12-ounce boiler also allows for steam capacity that is unparalleled by other machines at this size and price. An iron frame, housed by brushed stainless steel, provides durability as well as sleek, Italian style. Miss Silvia takes a little bit of time and patience to master, but once you do you'll never want to use anything else. As one of our customers said, "Superior performance, superior construction, superior period. This machine is worth it."

i've been on several cups a day and all i'm getting is a big case of gut-rot, a condition known as "coffee belly."  all i needed was a cap and a double and i was good and jittery, but my stomach felt great and i didn't feel nearly as dehydrated.  now i'm a superbigcoffeedork too.  yay.

Nice, what kind of beans you runnin'? Reason A to look ino the Tour of the Algarve, Potugal: auto espressers + cappers all over the place! Good ones too, can't recall brand name. About 75 cents a piece too.

i'll leave the coffee drips for the cone. it's more of a high pressure fire hose in the mainline.
