Today was a great Sunny day, so I thought I'd bring the ol' digital camera
along and show you what it's all about. These pics were taken on Skyline,
one looking east the other west. It's very lush and green right now, and
it's pretty clear so you can see a fair distance. There's this one point
along the ridge where you can see Mt. Tam in Marin, Diablo in the East Bay,
Hamilton to the southeast and Umunum straight south. How great is that!?!

I think this is one of the main reasons I like to get out and ride. Having
the opportunity to ride far and wide, see views people very rarely get to
take in, explore new roads, and just be outside. I tell people I have the
best view from my desk of anyone in the bay area, and the office ain't too
shabby either. 'course when it rains the lack of ceiling comes into the
fore, but by and large I can't complain too much. The other part people
don't readily grasp is that I pedaled a hundred miles and 10000 vertical
feet in order to get that great view, and if they did they might not feel so
bad about their own commute.
